After a very cold and icy winter, we have made some changes to the store to transition into the Off-Season.

Our Two Main Goals for This Season:

1. Provide firewood throughout spring and summer for backyard fires and pizza ovens.
2. Allow you to order firewood early for the next heating season.

To achieve this, we will adjust the delivery schedule for spring and summer to be less frequent. This allows us to fill the truck efficiently, optimize delivery routes, and maintain the same delivery fees as before. Currently, we plan to make deliveries every four weeks. However, if demand is higher than anticipated, we will adjust the schedule accordingly.

Order Early for Next Winter

For peace of mind next winter, you can now order your firewood early. We have added a button to the product page that allows you to select a preferred delivery date in the fall. At the moment, you can choose any Friday, and we will schedule your delivery in the days leading up to that date to ensure your firewood arrives on time.

We want to emphasize that you are only purchasing firewood that is physically in stock at the time of your order. You are not pre-ordering future production—you are buying existing stock with a later delivery date.

Deposits and Pay on Delivery

This brings us to the biggest change we have made: all orders now have the option to pay only a 10% deposit at checkout. The remaining amount will only be charged to your card once the firewood is delivered.

This means you can place an order with a future delivery date without having to pay the full amount upfront. When we schedule your delivery and send you an email with the confirmed date, we will also authorize your payment method for the remaining balance. This ensures that only fully authorized orders are loaded onto the truck and gives you peace of mind knowing that your credit card will only be charged once the firewood is in your driveway.

All these changes are brand new, and we welcome any feedback or suggestions on how we can improve further.
